to me the fact that Sayid crossed over with Shannon some girl that he had a brief fling with over his wife and love of his life Nadia proves even more how ridiculous the whole thing was. I mean, Kate and Jack left the island together and didn't work out, it was like the writers had constantly pushed us into a Sawyer/Kate love story but then decided to do a Uturn right at the end

Agreed. I'm also one of those never supportive of Shannon with Sayid and I don't think I have to explain it. They were about the most awkward thing ever. Completely non-suited for each other.

Gee, what more can I say on the same subject. It's just sad that the writers did this. I'm awaiting some sort of a podcast in which they would explain their motives. I can't swallow that they made me SO POSITIVE just before the finale only to make me bawl out of grief like a baby.
